Red Ribbon Week (RRW) is quickly approaching. The dates are October 25th - October 29th. The theme this year is ”Drug Free Looks Like Me." We invite all scholars to participate in our Red Ribbon Week activities. It's a great time to commit to not using illegal drugs or alcohol.
Here are the RRW activities:
Monday, October 25th - Dress Like You! - Scholars can be out of uniform and dress as they normally would. See rules below.
Tuesday, October 26th - Dress Like Your Pastime/Hobby - Scholars can dress up as their favorite pastime or hobby. Example: Painters could dress up like a painter or a painting. See rules below.
Wednesday, October 27th - Dress for Your Future - Scholars dress up as their future career or future self. See rules below.
Thursday, October 28th - Dress as Your Favorite Character or Role Model - Scholars could dress up as their favorite superhero, character (all school appropriate), or role model. See rules below.
Dress-up Days rules: Scholars should be dressed from the top of the shoulders to the knees. Footwear must be closed (no open-toed sandals, etc.) No face painting or additional masks are allowed. Scholars can be creative with the mask they already wear! The staff must be able to see the rest of the scholar's face for safety reasons. They should not bring anything that could be mistaken for a weapon. All costumes/clothing must follow general school-appropriate guidelines (no weapons, anything vulgar or hurtful to others, etc.).
